Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan Open House
The City of La Crosse is developing a Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan (FHMP).
Residents and stakeholders from the community are encouraged to attend this open house to provide input in the planning process.
Why Develop a Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan:
• To assess flood risk and vulnerabilities
• To identify strategies to reduce flooding impacts and damages
• To prioritize and plan implementation of flood risk reduction projects according to feasibility, community priority, and potential for grant funding
• To increase community flood resiliency
